The Undem Family Adventures

About

Hey hey friends! I am so excited you are on my blog!

My name is Lexie, and I am the content creator behind @lexienoelleundem and The Undem Family Adventures! My pages are all about our travels, positivity and encouragement, trauma healing, gentle parenting, some DIY, recipes and products we love, and all the little moments in between.

I believe in showing kindness, recklessly.

I believe that you are capable, valuable, and important

I share about my toxic, traumatic childhood to make others feel like they are less alone. I want to show people that even though you may not get to choose the circumstances of how you were raised, you CAN choose the next phases. You CAN choose to create a different life. I can’t promise that it will be easy, but I can promise that I will be here to cheer you on!

I never dreamt that I would have a family, let alone one as beautiful as the one that I have now. We welcomed our beautiful, busy baby girl in May of 2020, Carolynn Rose. She is the true light of our lives, and of anyone who she meets – she is funny, intelligent, and DON’T get me started on how strong-willed she is (no idea where she got THAT from!). September of 2023 we completed our family with the birth of our son, Camden Michael. He is a perfect, bubbly and giggly baby who is learning and growing so much each day!

Here, you will find motivation and our real life, our family travels and projects we love to do (well, Lexie loves to do…), as well as recipes that we truly enjoy.

All brand collaboration links can be found under the “links” page and using my codes and my links helps me support my family! I appreciate each and every one of you, and I’m thankful for your support.

A little more about me–I am a North Dakota girl, born and raised!

I was always a bit of a tomboy and still enjoy spending as much time as possible outside. I am married to my best friend, Shane. Shane and I met through church camp and enjoyed a mutual friendship for many years before deciding to start dating in college.

After a few months of dating, Shane transferred to the same university that I was at, in Dickinson, North Dakota. Shortly after Shane moved to Dickinson, we bought our home in December of 2015. We rescued a beautiful german shepherd dog, Nikita, and with her help Shane proposed in January of 2017. We enjoyed a perfect day surrounded by friends and family when we tied the knot September 1st, 2018.

Where you might find us

Spending time with friends and family-probably smoking food on our Traeger!

Outside going for a walk, tending to my garden, or playing with Valkyrie, our yellow lab.

Traveling! We set a goal to visit all 50 states including all 59 national parks!

Do Kindness, Recklessly.
