I know they say that time flies even faster as you become a mom but isn’t that the truth?
When I watch my daughter grow up right before my eyes it’s incredible that she is already two and a half years old.
Yesterday marked my husband’s 28th birthday and I am so happy to say that our marriage is stronger than ever and continually thriving. In just a few days we will celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and I am forever grateful for that day. I wasn’t blogging back then, so maybe I will need to make a throwback wedding blog detailing our best day ever. Saturday night/Sunday morning at 2 am Valkyrie had her puppies and so our house is even more-extra wild right now. I came home from a late shift and she had had 7 of them on the couch (thank goodness for steam cleaners) and we were up until about 5 am checking on momma and her babies.
This year has been a really bumpy road for me. I left my corporate job in search of pursuing passions and joined a team with a friend of mine, unfortunately, that didn’t work out quite as we had hoped and she had to lay me off. What that did do is push me further into content creation and now working as a Social Media Manager for Picking Daisies Media and its been quite an adventure. I love creating content and sharing my life, and I love helping others reach their social media goals, but I certainly never saw myself in this style of role.
Overall, August was a good month, there was a lot of personal growth, I slowed down some, made some major pivots, and had some pretty groundbreaking things happen–not all of which I am quite ready to share.
