Fall is hands down my favorite season for crafts. Something about the leaves changing and the air getting crisp makes me want to pull out the paint and sit at the kitchen table with the kids. We’ve done our fair share of Pinterest fails over the years, so I’ve gotten pretty good at knowing which projects are actually worth the mess and which ones end up abandoned halfway through.

This list is full of crafts we’ve genuinely done and loved, nothing that requires a trip to a specialty store or a craft degree to pull off. I kept it simple on purpose. When you’re wrangling a toddler or a first grader, “easy” isn’t just a nice bonus, it’s the whole point. Most of these use supplies you probably already have at home, and a lot of them can be done start to finish in under 30 minutes.
